Parking brake fail or pilot forgot?
Looks like a 109 rolled into a car on a ground pad? |

Hydraulic system for brakes on 109E is notorious for bleeding down. Smart pilot always puts chocks in. Real, problem comes if you do a full pre-flight which calls for releas pressure in hydraulic resevoir so you can check #2 hyd. System level. |

Parking brake is powered by the auxiliary hydraulic system which has two reservoirs. They supply pressure for parking brake. If you don't remember that it must have been awhile since you've flown one. As for chocks, common scenario is to do full preflight, pull the chocks and hop in to start and the air craft starts to roll. If parked on slope you have two options
leave chock in until started and some one else pull it
dont empty the aux system resevoirs |

Utility. It called the Utility Hydraulic System. And those 2 things are called accumulators. There are 2 hydraulic accumulators in the utility hydraulic system. Call me a p(ri)ck or whatever you want, but your Check Airman calls you worse. |
