Anyone sourced the filters that are talked about? Would rather go this route than pay $15k for a new RA box. Thanks!

But the FAA is hell bent on continuing to make it an issue. We've flown literally thousands and thousands of flights since the "5g scare" and no one in our company has even noticed, been affected, or reported any problems. |

Out there that already have an SB to add filters into the system. Basically it filters out to a smaller frequency input range to a rad alt. |

This is so freaking stupid! Let's make the aviation side of things more complicated and expensive adding in filters and more stuff to break when the Gov F'ed up and knew 5G was going to be an issue but then allowed big cell phone to pay the bills and get their way! Makes me furious! |

get all of it but far as I know the only requirement for relying on a radalt is on Cat II/III approaches. Unless involved in those approaches I'd opt for the cheapest way of compliance probably via filters between the antenna and receiver. |

Per Honeywell, they are getting closer but are not quite there yet. Expecting AMOC/Exemption to be extended. |

Why is he cost a burden on the aircraft operators when it's the telecommunications companies who are benefiting from the new radio frequency usage? They should be made to pay for it, not the aircraft operators!
At least for the upgrades of existing instal. New installations should already have the proper filters built-in.
HAI should lobby for that! |

Radar Altimeters are an input into GPWS, EGPWS, TAWS, and HTAWS. There is a troll here who claims that spurious TAWS alarms, cannot lead to nuisance trips, or be detrimental to safety. The poser also claims that such distractions cannot in any way lead to or contribute to an accident. |
