What's the annual anniversary COLA looking like from Metro lately? Still 4 percent-ish or have they stepped it up? |

Name another company that pays a 4% increase with no salary cap. 4% every year for almost 20 years now! |

After 22 years, $133k with base lead bonus. No payroll deduction for health insurance that covers myself, spouse and kids.
If you can get the base in the area you want, and IF the med crew/ hospital admin are not up to the usual shenannigans, Metro is really the best place for HAA. Great leadership as of now. As long as they dont put another power tripping DO or CP in place. |

Man, the people on this board anymore, this is going down a $#!thole. Anyway, Metro does provide a 4% raise every year, I don't know that it can really be called a COLA, I thought that was what is given to a people at a specific base due to the Cost of living in that area... Either way, Metro provides that also at some locations. |

You get really high up on the payscale and a competing industry nearby purges a bunch of mechanics into the job market. And just like that, everybody is suddenly getting suprise aircraft inspections and let go for trivial reasons. New recruits are then hired in at 1/2 to 2/3 cost. It's business and business is cut-throat regardless of how "golden" you are made to think you are.
-just my opinion. Now go ahead JH, delete away... |

Spot on with that one. The longer you stay with a company the more of a financial burden you become to them. So, they want you gone so you're not eating away at their profits. |
