Looks like they pulled down the posted positions for the Flagstaff base.  Did they fill them all or did Air Methods scuttle the base and pull the rug out from under more employees?

You can't get the job. That's the real motivation for the post. There's a line a mile long. It'll take 3-5 years to get that position. Maybe 7. And then you'll be in pitch black Arizona flying reservation alcoholics over mountains up to 12,000 feet high at 2 am.

plus it's hospital based so you da niga

Flying EMS in NM and AZ was actually my most enjoyable EMS job. The medics and nurses were the least pedantic, most honest, and most down to earth I've worked with.

Air Methods lost the Guardian contract. They are opening a community base just like they did in Cottonwood. They wont take any flights off the res thst dont pay and they wont get anything from FMC. So you'll scrounge up 2-3 scene calls a month for about a year at which point they will close it down.

Yep heard the flag base has been put on hold indefinitely.   It was only a move to try to get back at Guardian.

...they ran into problems with some approvals from the city, and are now looking at opening the base at the Williams airport.
