So Ms Bryant has settled her suit against the helicopter company and the pilot. How is this likely to affect the pilot's family. Have you as a pilot put any policies in place to protect your family, if so what is available to us as pilots to protect or families from our mistakes? |

Pay attention to what's happening in life and learn to be prepared. It's not hard and you don't have to be real smart. People who know me are well aware of the "smart" thing. Just pay attention, stop whining about not having money and find a way to save a few bucks regulary and when it's time to retire you'll be able to support yourself in retirement. |

That's exactly what he should have done, but he didn't want to get a third FAA violation because he'd already violated Class B airspace without a clearance twice before... |

Yes, he didn't want to violate Class B for a third time and lose his pilot certificate so he desperatly tried to maintain MVFR all the way to the crash site. So sad, this should have never happened, and this pilot was very proficient flying IFR. |
