looks like an inflight breakup or pilot incapacitated... final vertical velocity is almost 17,000fpm...
reports in area were severe turbulence.

1. Autopilot disconnects in IMC.
2. Severe or moderate turbulence.
3. Icing conditions.
4. All of the 12 fatal accidents were single pilot ops.
Note: Not one was due to engine failure. This accident likely had numbers 1 thru 4 & should have never been dispatched. |

Second fatal fixed wing accident for GMR within a few months. With thecompanys trend its just a matter of time before it hits the rotor wing side. Maybe if thecompany put more towards pilots, maint, and safety instead of the investors deep pockets this could have been avoided. |
