Age is overated...has anyone come across a visor with the bottom halfish a reading prescription? I think that would be neat cause I'm hating my readers. |

My normal bifocals didn't work too well so I had bifocals made that had the lower section focused just beyond hand length to match the distance to the instrument panel. So when I look down I see the panel, up for outside and if I tilt my head down I look through the Nvg's. I agree getting old sucks. |

Find some stick on readers and add them to your visor? |

Retired now but used "triple segs"when I flew. They had three different strengths. For me they worked well with goggles.

Google Stick on bifocals. You can get them on amazon for about 20 bucks. I put them on my visor years ago and love them. You might have to play around with them to find the best placement. |

Get progressives, seriously, it takes some time to get use to them (like NVG's) but once you do you'll love them for the rest of your life!! |

I like progressives for day shift, but don't like how they work with the NVGs.
I stick wth bifocals at night with the line set up high at panel height. Prefer intermediate distance on the bottom vs close reading prescription. Took me a few years to sort it out and some arm twisting of the opticians, but they work pretty good. |

You're a real man and hang out the aircraft 24/7 and the visor keeps the wind out your eyes. But hey what do I know only been looking straight down since 83. |

to a good optometrist and tell them exactly the ranges you need. Readers are very bad for your eye strain balance; very bad. |

I was thinking "just ask your 20 something eagle eye co-bubba what they see", and act accordingly. They'd be glad to help. |
