Yeah...but not as old as the boss calling me on my day off asking me to cover his shift that weekend, or spending the first of my days off simply recovering from a week of 2:30AM transfers, or endless medcrew drama or getting paid somewhat mediocre wages for what I was doing. Don't get me wrong. I am indeed gone a little more than I'd like, but when I'm home, I'm home. And I do indeed work a lot harder than I did flying HEMS. But that's temporary, and my QoL in the long run is much better. HEMS was a good job. This is slowly turning into a GREAT job. |
