I heard there is a major shake up in management there.  Firings and resignations.  What's the story?

Is that when Quanta Services buys you out, they make their changes, such as sticking ex military guys with zero experience in the position. Haverfields profit in the Quanta bucket is minuscule in the big picture. Plain and simple, Quanta ruins what once was a good company. Many people there who were 20+ years suddenly canned. Quite sad.

I disagree with that..It once was an exciting place to work..cutting edge work method development..many firsts from a helicopter accomplished by HH..I cant tell you how many marker balls ended up in the trees of West VA before it got figured out..or how to do a shield wire splice.. not to mention measuring wire with a rolling measuring device...a lot of what is taken for granted for today was figured out by the linemen and pilots of the early Haverfield organization.

I'll second that HAVERFIELD was never a good company to work for. They would act like you were trying to screw them by not flying due to weather. I think upper manahement werent Good people. If you think about the number of deaths riding on their shoulders due to pushing pilots behind the scenes, it's disgusting. Maintenance was absolutley terrible. Terrible safety culture. I doubt it has changed.

Worked there years ago.  Got my start there.  Was a great organization.  Those guys should never had sold to Quanta.  What a waste.

 Word in the biz is that most of the ex mils are gone or going PJ president is now king of Quanta Aviation and Haverfield is now referred to as PJ East
