Im not ifr current But I have my own small plane and a friend who could come with me to act as safety pilot So I can get current. Is this legal? she is over 21 and has flown drones before but isn't a rated pilot. and she is single. |

FAR 91.109(c)(1) requires that the Safety Pilot must hold at least a private pilot certificate. The pilot certificate must have category and class ratings that are appropriate to the aircraft being flown. |
