If you are not checking Notams and TFR's you will get burned. I can list examples of guys who landed at closed airports or flew over a very high ranking politicans house. Both got slapped by the FAA and lost income for a period of time. It only takes a few seconds on your phone. Do it! |

Never did pay much attention until after 9/11 when TFR's started popping up everywhere! Be very careful, several of our company pilots have had their certificate revoked for 60-90 days due to penetration into a TFR! |

I said notams. What's that got to do with tFRs? TFRs can be checked on sky vector or fore flight. Nobody checks sheets and sheets of notams In our world. |
