The link shows basic helicopter pilot salaries and will further give you a sample for the location you wish to search.  What I find most peculiar is that the formula to calaculate location indicates those with a Master's degree can expect a drop in annual salary from those with a Bachelor's degree.  I don't think you "need" either except as a prospective hire prerequisite (pretty important especially in the military); however, higher education (AA, BA) has almost become a societal "norm" (not that that's a good thing or even needed).   

Delta used to require a 4 year degree, but have now did away with it due to a shrunken pool of applicants and a mass exudus during the Covid retirement package giveaways. It's bad enough that flight attendants are getting hired as pilots in the training programs if they have a comm license from what I remember. Odds are, anyone can get in the cockpit for little to no kneeling and bobbing these days. It's just as terrible on the mx side. 

Used to have to work for a degree, study, learn, develop.  Today those degrees are handed out like water.
