Depends on the Company, pay is low though, and you're not management, just an admin peon. Pay is generally low, A lot of pilots clear 100K easily, you'll be lucky to see 80. avg seems to be 65 -80K. |

Most OCC staff are pilots that for one reason or another either lost their medical or decided to quit flying but wanted to remain in aviation. |

Maybe that's your way of looking at it. Somethings are beyond your control like loosing your medical because of a certain hereditary condition or required medication that's on the FAA no fly med list. But hey sometimes it's not about the money but still being involved someway in the profession you enjoy. |
