Care what the moon is doing. It has zero decision on whether I go fly or not. And its dark in WV. I'll figure it out when we get out there. No moon no biggie. If there is some extra light from the moon, great. It doesn't matter |

I bring a personal hygrometer and point my protractor at the moon before I take off. |

Just check the box on your RA no matter what. OCC can't take risk away. Same reason scene is always checked. |

Scene is always checked. Because I always check it unless it's a MX flight. What part of me saying I always check scene don't you understand. Glad you aren't at my base. You are slow |

it's not a scene. that's why there's a separate box for each. |

90% of the hospital pads are higher risk than any scene call. Also scene is checked so that when you are diverted to a scene you already have it pre cocked. Just check scene no matter what you're doing so that you are good to go. Yes you can do a hospital transfer with scene checked. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have this pre cocked before any flight request. |

just because you consider a hospital pad higher risk, that still doesn't make it a scene. mostly because it's not a scene. and if you think a hospital pad is higher risk than a scene, you are really new or really stupid or both. funny how the risk increases with a scene. maybe that's why they have a SEPARATE BOX for scene. maybe they should have a special box just for you that says NOT A SCENE BUT I THINK 90% OF HOSPITAL PADS ARE MORE HIGH RISK or you could add that at the bottom. lol |

Please just check any scenario that could possibly happen so that you are good to go when the call comes in. Nothing is worse than when OCC holds you up because they think it's a scene call because your stupid comm specs building the flight clicked scene but you send it in to OCC without the box checked because it's actually an interfacility. And the fact that you think a hospital pad with 75 foot trees and only 20ft rotor clearance is safer than a football field shows me you might want to get out of the business. You're the next accident. |

I will probably fly into the trees at the hospital pad because I don't think they are as risky as the trees that aren't at the football field because every scene I go to is pretty much always a football field. |

since there's a box for scene that could mean not every flight is a scene but please keep on checking it every time. |

You can either use SLAP from that Navy website or make it easy on yourself and use the lunar calendar from Time and Date. Time and Date and SLAP will vary a little, but they're generally within a half a percent of each other. |
