Haverfield is Quanta. Quanta is a giant conglomerate with MBA types at the helm. MBA types are conditioned to think that education equals experience and knowledge. Who has loads of education yet little experience but barrels of BS? Retired military with degrees aplenty but have never seen a 20,000 foot wire pull. Who’s intimidated by dirty pilots that don’t have military or education.? Same crowd. Who’s got to go? Dirty experience. Simple corporate math my friends. |

As expected the educated military checked in. Short story everyone, people that went to higher education don’t often work in blue collar aviation. Pilots that work 180 days a year on the road AND can fly power line are more rare every year. Haverfield, Winco, PJ will fold or pay loads to find talented guys with road stamina. In the mean time ex mil managers will wonder why every pilot doesn’t have a 135 certificate in his pocket. |
