Welcome onboard checkairmen to the never ending battle of pilots vs. management. This toxic work environment will remain for a long time. Makes it real hard to go to this place every day when there is nothing but dragging feet, bitching and moaning, hanging heads, where management is the enemy. It's a cesspool of bad attitudes and poor leadership. Jumping ship to a non union operator as soon as our interest rates and housing markets find equilibrium...maybe sooner. |

Pilots and management have a pretty good relationship at AMC. We certainly do not view management as an enemy. It certainly isn't any better or worse than any other operator. Probably better. You invented a situation that does not exist in order to malign the union and our right to collectively bargain. Funny how the anti union crowd always like to pretend that non-union companies all have great relationships with their management. Yes, you leaving is a good idea. |

You invented a situation that does not exist. Wrong. You are blinded by your high self worth. Intent was to point out, as a fellow line-pilot, there is a division between management and the pro-union pilots. The non-union pilot crowd are a better group to work with. There is a definite elephant in the room when both union stewards and management are present. In my opinion, Management has made numerous changes without any regard to OPEIU's sage input. Typical pro-union responses when positive changes are made, are to claim them as their own. In my opinion, you do a great job at maligning the union with your ignorant driveling. If things are so great, why would you even need to collective bargain? Funny how the pro union crowd always like to pretend that they are there to promote great symbiotic relationships, heal, mend, represent...I feel they do the opposite. Peace and love. |
