Can anyone post on here a link or files of any study materials or docs for this helicopter? If you have a Powepoint made, or digital flash cards, or literally anything - I would love to see it. Thanks |

A model has a 250-C18, the 500C had a 250-C20, 500E a different roterhead and blades I believe and a T-Tail 250-C20B, more sex appeal.
OH-6 could have a upgraded Engine, but you still can't use a OH-6 for a Private, Commercial or Flight Instuctor certificate, unless they have changed. 500C's are good to go for certification rides'

The Hughes Model 369 (YOH-6A) and 369A (OH-6A) helicopters were only produced for and delivered to military customers. To meet the basic eligibility requirements for a U.S. standard and export airworthiness certificate, Hughes Model 369 (YOH-6A) and 369A (OH-6A) helicopters must have been issued an FAA Form 8130-2 (previously FAA Form 970), “FAA Conformity Certificate – Military Aircraft”, prior to delivery to the U.S. Army. Civil conversion of these helicopters requires certain modifications to be made in accordance with the applicable FAA approved type design data which forms the basis of Type Certificate H3WE. |

The Fuselage skin on the OH-6 is thinner than the 369C maybe .028" as apposed to .032" for the "C"
If you modify the OH-6 with a -20 engine you'll loose 1/2 an hour of fuel with the higher fuel burn rate and it won't go any faster with the bigger engine. |
