nice daily rate, per diem, no state taxes, all travel expenses paid. I'll make 140 minimum this year with no OT. Call it whatever you want, but this is one nice gig. |

If you were one of my patients, I would deny you for scamming to double Dip. If you're disabled enough to get that much disability, then you don't need to be flying anymore. |

Yep. You want Military benefits? Join the Military! Don't want to join the Military? Great! But don't cry about not getting looked at early by Airlines or cry about someones compensation from injuries while serving. Can't we just cheer each other on no matter what path we are on? |

Metro has never given less then a 4% raise. Figure a median starting salary with 4% raises every year so $112,00 - $115,000 base salary is well within the norm. You all are at the wrong company if your not making over 100k after 8-10 years. |

Been with the company a little longer than Vesty.
My base is $124,400
That is before any add on, IFR, Lead, etc.
4% annual raise really adds up. If Vesty started at 68k 13 years ago, that puts him right at 113k now.

I think you're right in one sense, and incorrect in another.
Bottom of the barrel with respect to getting flying time and company and medical aggravation, top of it in aviation with respect to helping people and providing a ending of career live-at-home final job. |

Hey, dipsh*t. No one has to prove anything. If you don't want to do HAA, don't. If you do, do it. As for all of the mil haters, you can eat a d*ck. Just because you didn't make that choice, don't be a p*ssh and hate on the ones that did. Yes, we earned certain benefits. So, a mil retiree is what it is. If you don't like it because you think that we wreck your pay scale, it isn't gonna change any time soon. So, put your money (not as much as a mil retiree with VA bennys, Ha!) where your mouth is and vote with your feet. But, no. You'll take what ya get. You're the actual bottom feeders. |
