After 15 years of flying HAA I left and went to work for the FAA. Wish I done it 20 years ago instead of wasting 15 years flying medical helicopters. It was a little bit of a pay cut at first but after a couple of years I'm back up to six digits. No nights no weekends lots of holidays. |

But you don't get a full week off every other week to do things like fish when other people are working. Not for me. I'm not flying EMS for the money that's for sure. It's about being able to go do things when everyone else is at work. No crowds on the slopes, beaches, or fishing |

Still showing? And now that you've been there a few years, have you gotten over your power trip yet? And finally, do you understand the regs you are trying to enforce? While you're at it, how about working a little faster and being more efficient. The operators you work for have real work to do. It gets old waiting for the faa clown show to get back from vacation.
