Can someone explain why the guys that regularly manage to slam Blackhawks into the ground get direct entry into the lucrative jobs while a 3,000 hour civilian rotor pilot (who may even hold the extremely valuable rotorcraft ATP rating) with real experience in the civilian aviation industry is told to get bent? Other than the FARs saying they can get an R-ATP for some odd reason? |

Because the government looks out for its own. That's why they can get 100% disability and still work. They get retirement early, pay less in taxes, etc. Then get to jump straight to a crewed environment because they can't do anything by themselves. Sit as six for 20 years, retire again. So yah, truth. That's why you see so little of military trained pilots in high skilled helicopter jobs, Hot line work, AG, fire unless their the xo pilot. And with them now training in EC145's, the autos are only going to get worse. Never soloed....lol |

Nothing says brave like putting someone down. Nothing says professional like using emojis. Nothing says pilot, like being a W 1-4 never having to do all the work a civilian pilots has to. All.you great military aviators that over torque, over temp, or generally damage an aircraft without so much an ounce of worry about loosing your job. Yah, your a hero. I bet your the same Blackhawk who ran trash flights and never.really made it to combat. |
