Electrical fire took out the essential bus, engine overspeed, no collective control (supposedly), flown by switching engine mode between Idle and fly.

about an AW139, so I have questions.

1)  Why would they have no collective control ?

2)  Both engines would overspeed?  Are the two  sides not able to be isolated?

3)  If they did have collective control, why would they not switch the engines to idle and AR to the ground?
