I'm taking a trip to New orleans this weekend with the Mrs. We have a hotel in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street. Are there any particular restaurnants or bars that are a "definite stop and visit" that anyone would recommend? Thanks in advance.... |

Tin Roof at the Pontchartrain. Serio's for a Po Boy. Crescent Brew pub. Take the ferry for free. WW2 museum great to beat the heat. Street car good value too |

Word to the wise. Know your surroundings. Stay on main streets not the side strees. The WW2 Museum is worth the time spent. |

Starbuck’s on Canal St. this weekend will be fine but the location is closing Oct 3 due to high crime and homelessness affecting employ safety. |
