30 years in this trade and damn few small to medium operators left. The Quana business model and probably legal department operate like insurance companies. ‘Well if the pilot is instrument rated in a twin engine he won’t crash. If he has 10,000 hours corporate flying he’s twice as good as Mr. 5,000 hours with 4000 hours HEC and long line.
Sadly some good coming uppers are just a number and down the road they’ll go.

Quanta went out and bought 3 successful helicopter companies. Each has failed as Quanta forced it into business model that doesnt work, and ran off anyone that spoke up. Everyone who could spell powerline at Quanta Aviation and its subsideraries has been replaced with sone Ex-Mil tool. The only way any of them are going is down in flames.

Is accurate. The Ex Mil guys think they know it all when in fact they're pure garbage in that position. Quanta Aviation is a joke, run by people who have never even done a center phase full tension splice.

The people disliking this post are milatards or the pilots hoping they don't get let go and have to fend for themselves. Good luck people

Shouldnt be hard to find work with another utility company.  Everyone is struggling right now.  I know of 1-2 open positions off hand

It wasn't hard... I picked up the phone and had a job offer in 24 hours with a 10% bump in pay. It just upsets me off that I wasted all of those years. I was loyal to people who were loyal back to me, it was like a family to me and life was good. Then with the flip of a switch, all of those people that knew, that I sweat with, bleed with, failed and succeded with were gone. Then some new guy with no experience steps in and sends me off? why, I'm not sure why. Because I was paid to much? too close to previous management, who knows. Its not just Haverfield, or Winco for that matter, this has been happeneing Quanta-wide for 2-3 years. 

Dont be a bitch. If you have really been in this sector of work for as long as you say, you should by now know how it is. The only person I miss  is B's.

I've been laid off 3 times in 10 years in utility. Now I have a gov job in utility and I'll never be paid off again. Get your experience and go gov.
