Go take an alcohol diversion class. Employers won't care after that. If the DUI has been a long time ago, they also won't care about that. It had been ten years when I went and interviewed in the gulf back in 2018. Had my DUI in 2008 in the military. I did an alcohol diversion class after it happened, and haven't had any issues getting offered jobs or hired anywhere. |

There are plenty, I mean thousands of pilots active and non active from military, private airplane to airline pilots with DUI’s. So many in fact the FAA has a program in which pilots can rehabilitate and show they aren’t a danger to the public. You’ll have to sign a waiver for any 135 operator to allow a DMV inquiry of your driving record. So you can’t really hide a DUI. If your DUI is old or you’ve participated in a rehab program you can get a job maybe not the one you want right off but there are plenty of employers out there. |

The FAA has developed the idea that a DUI could be announcing a drinking problem. Not always, certainly, but sometimes. A real Pro will consult the guy he shaves with.
