From management towards pilots. Whether it was earned or not, it is not the best course of action to do this to the pilots. It will backfire in the longrun.
If it was earned, real case-by-case management work needs to be done to rectify problems. They are taking the easy way out and acting with short sighted corrections to the masses. |

Agreed, what is this thing? Only thing I can think of is to hold a preflight checklist on your person doing the preflight because someone skipped something a on preflight and caused an issue. At MTC they had us put a checklist on the handle of the heliporter because so many people kept messing it up. |

said it was from several issues resulting from lack of proper preflight so a way to advise folks to leave pilot alone to do a thorough preflight. People will do what people do so tbd if it works out but a way to avoid interruption. |

Seriously? The armband is to alert people to leave the pilot alone to concentrate on his pre-flight tasks? Are the medi-cools so dumb as not to see a pilot with open cowls or standing on a ladder means ‘pre-flight’? |

Nope, didn't come from the hospital. It came from advisory after a regional meeting. Maybe an idea, maybe something to be put out later? Should be on the pilot as well to not allow interruptions, not just med crews. |
