All this electric stuff and no means to reliably recharge the army of upcoming electric cars, tractors, machinery, industrial plants, scooters, motor bikes, airplanes, helicopters, personal aerial phenomena given our grid infrastructure and closure of nuclear plants, not to mention the lack of availability of specific metals required to create the continent of batteries required, or the energy to recycle them (and wind farm rotor blades and on and on - BTW, the rotor blades can't be recycled, industry has no clue what to do with them). Hybrids? OK, good starting point for the world. Increase internal combustion energy capture as ongoing objective, sure. Hydrogen powered vehicles? Green energy? Definitely not as cheap as continuously working to increasing efficiency of what we have as well as maximizing utilization appropriately. Lot of collossaly dumb stuff going on in the political implementation world (a lack of intellect thing). Gov of California declares people (owners of 600,000 electric vehicles) should not recharge their cars during the current peak of electric transmission capability. OK, what does that tell ya? So, let's all go in to electric helicopters - great career, maybe. |
