Just wondering. I'm a college kid about to graduate. I want to fly helicopters in the army and get free flight tone. |

if you are going to be a college graduate, join one of the other services that require their pilots to be officers, instead of warrant officers, and get a commission and fly there. You will probably end up making a career out of it anyway at least if you're smart, and that way you will have a military pension. Look at it this way also, 20 years from now most helicopters in the civilian world will either be automated and without pilots or will have been replaced by drones. Don't limit yourself and do something you will really be sorry for, and join the army. You can do better. |
