Had their time !!BUT like everything else they're useless to the avg worker today. All they do since the 70/80's is take $$ from the workers and make CO's move to Non-Union states!. They were needed during the Industrial revolution for workers protections $$/safety. Now OSHA/Gov. (Yeah I hate that too) there is NO need for unions for workers except to suck $$ from them & drive businesses away!! Seen it in WAY too many other industries: Steel/Auto are just 2 MAJOR ones that were driven away from the area's they thrived in due to unions!! |

But so what? Very few corp jobs around. I'm an EMS float with a set schedule and I will clear 140 with no OT. Most corporate jobs will not pay that and you will work a lot more days and fly a lot more hours. You will also have to live in a very expensive place. I'm good. Union Pilot |

all travel days are paid =30k plus 12k per diem plus annual salary of 100k. see if you can do the math. tell me more about all them non union corporate jobs out there. there muct be at least a half a dozen opening out there. you said you had some facts? |
