Think it's bad now, just wait. Not as many military rotor pilots in the new generation are looking at going civilian rotor. Then couple that with not as many civilians training to fly helicopters. Rotor world is just at the beginning of the staffing issues. its going to get worse with time. Then there is the oh but the next big furlough at the airlines they will run back. Probably a true prediction, but then once furlough is over they all run back to their jets. Rinse repeat |

Maybe games like this are why. And just out the retention bonus is not how they rolled it out. It's 3 years to get ANY of the money or you get none of the money. |

I left MTC after they terminated my base manager for "insubordination" after refusing the vaccine. They had sent us emails for over a year stating the vaccine was a personal choice but terminated people if the contracting hospital required it. Not so much of a personal choice... many departed for similar reasons. |

i was told it's generally 3% but 1% of that was safety bonus and not everyone qualifies. Was told to plan for 2% and to do your job and be safe and would most likely get the additional 1%....what's with that? |

I left and retired after MT stated they never close base, the truth be told, less than a month close the base with 30 minutes noticed, no even a kiss for good luck and thank you for your service. If that was from a certain puppet his nose would grow with that l------. |
