Dishonest. The bottom 50% pay no federal income taxes. The remaining 49% pay 60% of federal income taxes. States that have state income taxes pattern their progressive taxes similarly to the feds. At least you were accurate saying the top. 1% are paying 40% of federal (and state) income taxes. The rich are paying 40 times their fair share. The bottom 50% are freeloading, paying zero fair share. |
