I will echo what the guy below said. Sometimes us guys at work will dip into the clouds for a minute or two and log a 0.1 IFR. Only if we have a student who is cool with it though. So far I am up to 3 hours. 

Let me say that 2 minutes here and there in the clouds arn't going to help much as far as IMC skills are concerned.You woube better off to rent an IFR C172 with a safety pilot and get some real IMC time .An hour a month would give you a lot af confidence for when you really punch in.When you are in the soup by yourself it is a whole different world.

I really hope you are trolling. Just in case You're not.....Me thinks you mean 'momentary IMC' as from your disclosure you are not IFR. Your time will come, the time you are logging blasting though a cloud doesn't mean a thing regarding proficiency. You'd be better served to fly IAPs on Microsof flight sim.

It's the idea someone might be stupid enough to log it that propels the admonition, assuming such pilots lounge about on this forum they might just pick up some advice.

Make the mistake thinking everyone who posts is a pilot. They're not. There are a lot of med crew, management, mechs, Union shills, and others. The management are the biggest trolls, generally speaking.
