How does Medtrans calculute the geo mod pay

AMC uses Sperling for there cost of living index % pay adjustment. What does Medtrans use?

We use the "How difficult it is to staff a base method", usually they are those in the middle of nowhere.  Ya just keep adding Geo Mod until the base is filled.

It's based on Cost of Labor. Similar to sperling but a different metric that is usually a little higher. Additionally, they may or may not tac on hard to fill/location modification which together make up the geo-modifications. I believe REACH has the highest due to California.

Long Island base has a $30,000 geo mod. Now rolled into base pay on new GMR pay schedule.

I'm hearing for California some of the Geo Mods are 30%-40%. In the middle of the pay scale that brings you up to $115,000 before stipends. So if IFR you'd be up to $120,000. Again, likely for Bay Area and North Bay Area bases. That's just the mid range.
