question is it better operationally, pay wise, medical crews, to work for a hospital with its own 135(Gesinger ) or fly for one of the other 135 companies?

If you like to be told what to do by the Med Types go to a hospital P135. There is a reason turn over has been high at GMC. Thread carefully.

Just like the PennStar program. Look how many different vendors have they gone through. I know it's NOT PennStar's 14 CFR 135 Cert. BUT they run it like it is!!

should be last on your list of prospective employers unless you have a geographic imperative or just want a retirement job.  An HAA career for young pilots is the death knell for your piloting skills.  Not kidding.

Amen! You do not build your skills flying 150 hours a year. You're lucky to maintain proficiency at the rate 5 flights per hitch. At that rate, you'll average 1 night transport every hitch. Nights are the killer for HEMS.

With a standard "slow" program, an autopilot with policies on autopilot use, your skills will be gone in short order.
