AEL is part of GMR. This pay revamp was to align all of GMR air to one scale. In a nutshell it should be easy for every pilot to exceed six figures. if you are IFR and in a high cost or hard to fill area you'll hit mid 100's. all with little to no overtime. |

starting pay no experience $82k
$5,000 appreciation bonus
$40,000 retention bonus after 3 years
GMR is by FAR the highest paid HAA company now...and it's a standard scale for all brands based on years with the company.

New hire base is a range and based on a range. The $82k is just the base of the range. |

The top is low six figures. Just under $115,000. Don't forget that is base pay only. Additional for location, IFR, instructor, check pilot, float, lead and its cumulative.
the location modification will be part of the annual raises. So annual raise will not be based of base pay but also location modifications.
This is very aggressive. We didn't have to wait two years for a union negotiation either. |

Looks like Metro will be bottom feeding ... it is unfortunate to see them decline, but being that cheap will just invite the pilots who can't get hired anywhere else. Anyone with any sense will likely move on. |

Or you can go places like Haynes in Bama and start at 82K, work mandated OT and get not a nickel extra.. $7 a day raise which is non compounding yearly and it's been said it's the going rate. After 10'yrs you make $70 more per day than the daily rate you started at..
haven't looked back |
