The ship is owned by Bell and maybe flown by a Bell pilot? So assuming that the instuctee was a rated pilot, who will the FAA say was the PIC? Who gets the accident on their record?

but usually, if the pilot getting instruction is a rated pilot, they are the PIC. The operators initial report will say who was PIC.
