Whats the skinny on recurrent at metro? Was told you have to rotate through the FTD in Shreveport, then go to Flight safety in Denver, then go back to base for your checkride. Sounds like a lot to do on your off week. Any current Metro 407 guys have the scoop? |

Go to Shreveport for indoc, 407 ground and then back to your base for training. The sim hasn't been approved yet for us to go. Great instructors, very laid back once you get away from Shreveport. |

Right now recurrent is in Shrevepor. Do a couple of hrs in the sim and a ground recurrent. About a day or 2 There. Soon they will send you to Denver for sim,recurrent and checkride. right now they send an ip to your base to do the checkride. |

As has already mostly been said... with Metro you'll have quarterly training (4x/year). 1 qtr - trip to headquarters for sim and ground (2 days) + checkride at your program; and the other 3 quarters - IPP's at your program. |
