This program has been challenging to AMC for far too long, sometimes its just better to help off-load them to someone else. This opens up a nice piece of real estate for AMC in Northern AZ without any pesky non-compete clauses. |

I will be very surprised if AMC really tries to expand into this market. There are a few areas, Show Low and Kingman where AMC already has aircraft and I'm sure will push a lot harder to steal flights from Guardian. Also they will no longer be filling Guardians open shifts with their own on duty pilots. But the reality is, that the res bases just require way to much effort and arent very profitable. |
