Retention is awful across the board. Nearly 60% turnover rate on the medical side and 140+ pilot openings. Area Managers that haven’t a clue how to run aviation operations and are more than willing to throw safety and regulations out the window to avoid out of service time. Aviation managers have placed so much pressure to fly, it’s through the roof, while safety appears to look the other way. Maintenance can’t keep up on the scheduling and so many aircraft are operating on one extension or another. Nothing gets done on time. “Do more with less” seems to be the mentality. It certainly isn’t the company it was ten years ago.

Retired from them over 11 years ago and it wasn't worth a daaam then.Most companies are run by people that have no clue of the industry they are running. It is sad, but our country will continue to erode under the current circumstances.

PHI Oil and Gas best job I have had. If only the oil wasn't located offshore of the anu$ of America I would still be there.

with a few operators and AMC as better than most, worse than the best.

it all starts at the top and if a company has problems just look at their management and weaknesses.

Sketchy mechanics, bottom resume pill pilots, "legacy" aircraft, maintenance being postponed to have quarters numbers look good.

I tried to reach my manager to tell him that I was leaving, well that manager had quit and his boss too.

when you think about it, it's a miracle that they dont have an accident every month.

If you work there, get your experience and get the hell out.

Although they claim "safety first, it is being run like if it was "money first".

You can feel the investors squeezing the juice out of AM every day.

Metro actively recruiting pilots.  Great training and support.  Medical for employee and family paid in full.

Benefits are not as good as AMC, as well as Retirement.

So yah... They are all the same.

HAA has become a trash heap with to many operators and to many dinging pilots.

pay for experience....no matter what you ask for they won't pay for Past EMS experience at all...their selling point is "well we pay your medical, dental etc"    well not really when you low ball someone's pay...it is coming out from somewhere....EVEN AMC is restricted on starting pay per the CBA....they can't go over it, but can offer Experience pay and higher GEO...>METRO will not do that....i have heard that Metro safety policy is a Window dressing as well and management questions flight turn downs...when the customer questions them....

THEY ARE ALL THE SAME...

Try contacting them, you might just be surprised by what they have to offer.   4% annual raise for the past 15 years, 75% match on 401.  Can not speak for other bases, but Metro is a 100% safety driven company.

The AMG hasmy bought new airframes in about 10yrs. They are still flying B3 that were converted from B2 and EC 135/407 almost 20-25yrs old aircraft.
