For quite a few years, when I went to get my phsyical, it was 140/90, sometimes even higher. lately, it's not been that high, but taking it at home, it still can creep up to 140s or so. I got something, an ayurvedic thing, from Amazon. I was quite skeptical at first. This morning, 3 days after I started taking it my bp is down to 125/68. Yesterday evening it was also in the low 120s. I don't remember the last time it was that low. I'm also in a very stressful time of my life, so I'm surprised and impressed by the results. Here's the link on Amazon. This stuff really works. I think a lot of us Type A personalities will benefit from thigns like this. If you decide to try it, chime in and let us know if you had the same results. It also gives a sense of calm and peace, for what it's worth

cause cardiac events are so common in commercial aviation. Maybe that's why the BP limits are so stringent, 155/95. |

Substances that cause physiological effects. There is a good chance that the FAA would consider that as self medicating. |

is if the "medicine" alters your bio rhythm you need to be under a doctor's care. Be careful. All you need is a problem where your blood chemistry is analyzed and discovered a component not naturally there. Papa FAA is very very definitely not a forgiving overseer. On a lighter note, thanks, I no longer fly so I'll be looking at it! |

so I am also one that has high BP but only in the drs office ( white coat syndrome) other than that by blood pressure is very good go buy a PB cuff monitor and check your BP every other day or so and log it on your phone. then when you go for your physical you have document proof you don't , you get use to having your BP checked and finally you know where you stand. good luck 👍 |
