There are no type 1 contracts this year. Only CWN. That said some locations have the funding that would normally go to EU and have ordered CWN to fill the slots. some are following the MAP, some are making it up as they go. Erickson has Cedar City and Swanson has a Kmax in mountain green. |

Nice to see the state used best value and price per pound. can a 61 guy explain how they make the 5,000lb/25c at 7,000? The last one I saw in Utah at had a 600ish gallon single shot Bambi bucket and it was reduced to 80%. Base was at 5,500' and Fire 7,000' at the top. Somehow the 61 always sneaks in on contract mins but on fire they always seems to have multiple buckets and are running the smallest one. are they taking extra fuel to stay out longer? |
