Yes not sure but there's some other pictures posted on some Med-Trans Facebook pages that shows the cabin and flight panel.

Well my Hems company is getting the D3 145.

It's the one with 5 blades for extra power and lower vibration

Now thats what I'm talking about, it may cost more but I'd rather have the D3 vs the E variant of the C2.  Program near us swapped out their 135 for a 145e and it has a down time of almost 20%.  It was the IFR version of the E.  The spare spends a lot of time up there.

Not Reach.
We will probably be the first in the US to use a D3 as a HEMS platform.
Very excited about the 4 axis AP.

axis is great on approach but be careful in turbulence as it can jack the collective to and, yes, beyond limits.  Best to stay in 3 cue in turbulence and ride it out.  Over 40 years with 4-cue.

For tight low vis decelerating airspeed ILS 4-cue is excellent but make sure you know the signal protection environment you are operating in to and the limits of protection provided, especially with respect to multipathing due to reflections from nearby taxiing aircraft or those departing.  If you think the subject does not apply to you that assumption is incorrect.

Good luck with the homework!

Just a PSA, there is no such thing as 4 cue. The 'cues' are cues from the flight director, you seem to be confusing / interchanging cues with axis. I assume we can blame that on 40 years of poor training.

In 2 cue, 3 axis are being controlled but most typically you are only being provided with a pitch 'cue' and a roll 'cue' 1+1=2. There is no cue for the third axis, yaw. Keen observers will note that any of the 2 cues could be in use, pitch and power, roll and power, pitch and roll. But as mentioned above, pitch and roll are the vast majority of 2 cue operations.

In 3 cue, 4 axis are being controlled and you are being provided with all the cues from 2 cue in addition to amother cue. 2+1=3. There can be exceptions, but this is almost always power. There is still no representation of yaw.

Display, or some kind of yaw display? Single cue refers to command bars. The alternative is cross pointer cue.

Pretty sure the ball, turn coordinator, etc display is not presented by the flight director so therefore would not be considered a cue. But please, carry on.

You won't be the first. Dare Medflight just had their D2 converted to D3, so they're the first in the US to be flying the D3.

Good Lord. Will Eurocopter ever move away from that decades old, antiquated tail rotor? Of course the main rotor design is just as prehistoric, but at least it doesn't require the same attention.

We need to wake up:  the MAI E Lite in IMC is unsafe.  The heading weaves left, then right, then left, then right.  It does not hold altitude but it simply bounces above and below the selected altutude.  I hope the FAA looks into this and pulls back on the certification before someone has an accident.
