Compters have been flying aircraft for decades. Most modern airliners have 2 pilot and 3 autopilots. Try taking the pilots out of the cockpit and see how many of the general public will get in the airplanes. |

So rather than use the auto pilot controls, now I have to carry another ipad to run the auto pilot? I don't see that it lands or takes off. A Helisas will hover, (drifts with the wind though). Is it so the med crew can run the auto pilot, and fly the AC to the crash site? |

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ccQLD2jqtMI Notice how they have the PIC control view clipped out of the video. It actually looks harder to fly using the ipad than using conventional controls. Perhaps this product has other uses than in the video, but I don't see how this was a good investment for AMC. |
