That base is cursed. First University/Midatlantic Medevac and now Pennstar both going TU there.

Reading Hospital / Tower Health are $500M+ in debt due to p*ss poor leadership and careless spending during the CoVID pandemic. Tower closed 2 hospitals recently, botched the sale of another and in talks to unload St. Christopher's, which I won't be surprised if they mess that up as well.

Tower pays Penn Medicine / PennSTAR for the use of PST4. Tower / Reading can no longer afford to pay for the aircraft and thus PST4 is rumored to be shut down June 1, 2022, if I'm not mistaken.

At least the crews have a date in closing so they can at least plan. The last operator invited the crews to NJ not even something to eat, told the crews right then the base was closed, hurry home and don't break the helicopter

True! I was the pilot on duty when we flew down for that meeting. MTC suits even had a float pilot waiting in case I didn't feel up to flying it home. No thanks guys, my car's parked in PTW. Sh*tty way to do it, but I was flying 3 flights a month. Surprised they kept the lights on as long as they did.
