What do you all think?

I think...H125.

Other than that it's a second, third and tenth hand industry (utility). Sadly.

Depends on what you mean by utility. For powerline it's the 500, no question. The H 125 is a nice aircraft for a lot of things, It Has a great power to weight ratio a reliable engine and good maintenance schedule, but I never thought it was very utility focused. It also has Poor visibility for external loads, and its design sacrifices crash survivability to give rear seat passengers a better view. Also, if you operate it in a dusty environment you'll have avionics issues, operate it with the doors off and you'll have seatbelt issues. My .02

For real... Airbus latches are the most ridiculously designed latches known to man.  I should be able to walk up, push a button or detent (or twist a knob) and the latch should open.  NOT a 6 step process like the stupid latches on an H125 (or other Airbus products).

make the latch more complicated which will make it less likely to be left unlatched

Bored Pilot. No safety design will dissuade an unrestrained pilot.

In production?  I kno you said "Still" but since ther was no start date it reduces to in production.  Then size was not mentioned either, so we have to presume less than 12,500 Gross Weight

So the new 412 with the -9 engines would work for some, the new capable 505 for others, 500E and 530 for powerline people the 407 has a place at the table,  If 133D (Hoist) you now open up to 412, 429, 902, 109S, 169?
