Does Lifenet still operate out of the Hartford Wi airport? They opened the base 11 months ago but there has not been a helicopter there for 2+ months. Air Methods still advertises them as an active base. No notices were given to regional fire EMS or 911 dispatch that they have closed |

From the area, not sure to be honest...FFL recently announced that they were planning to open a new base there so id assume AMC is gone or will be officially. |

Who knows they were averaging maybe 1 flight a week which is def not going to last in a ec135 at a for profit program. Apparently, shortly after openning the base they f..ed a patient up hard at the hospital in town and since the hospital has refused to use them. Its slightly ironic because AMC opened that base to try to force FFL to sell out or fold after they sold the Mchenry base. |

LN at least helped pressure FFL in ridding itself of its old management that was so out of touch with reality and put in a guy who is actually has experience and knows what is going on. |
