I've noticed a couple times that the company has mentioned financial uncertainty due to the new No Surprise Act. Most recently, with he announcement of the $600 payout to help with inflation they said something about not being able to make sweeping changes due to the fiscal effects of this act. Seems like the company preparing us for low-ball offers as contract negotiation comes up. What do you guys think?

helicopters for over 50 years.  Anything that impacts reimbursement is a serious threat that needs to be dealt with.

Everyone has been wondering what you are and hoping agreements with insurance companies would keep the ball afloat.

Personally I think operations in or near large cities will survive in the short to medium term but opreactions based in rural areas are likely to be negatively impacted.

According to Air Methods 2016 corporate presentation (there is no current data because they are now private), EBITDA margin for the air ambulance segment was 33%.  For the tourism sector (which operates in a competetive market), EBITDA margin was 19%.  That should give you an indication of where things are headed.

before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization.

33% is not as good as it sounds, 19% is in the hole.

Union has no leverage and neither do pilots so its hard to be optimistic about any of it. There will be lowballing then gas lighting how it's best we'll ever get then it gets passed. Wash, rinse, repeat. Oh then time goes on and "record profits" leaderships record breaking bonuses etc. Real neat times.

all need to think hard about the first sentence and how to solve that problem.  It will very much be worth the effort.
