I don't think Metro is on a good footing now. We needs lots of new pilots to replace pilots who are nearing retirement, have health issues, or are pursuing fixed wing options. Metro is not an employer of choice due to the low salaries and the aggrevation of dealing with SHV -- mean spirited, the "ok, leave" attitude, and the harshness of it all. I miss the old days when Mike and Jim C. got out to visit our bases and find out what's really going on. A pay raise would barely catch us up to PHI and AMC. Plus, it's not just about the $. |
