You should have had a "both" answer. Yeah, I'm making more money because of the shortages, which is always good, but I'm also never home and mama is starting to get grumpy....which makes me grumpy. Eventually, the money isn't going to be worth it.....until it's REALLY worth it.....like the airlines. |

We have a just a few who are OT hoes, but we also have a similar amount who will no longer cover shifts that are unfilled due to lack of pilots. If the airlines continue to hire at current and projected rates, I have a feeling we will see the company here get smaller.

Yeah but in a good way. I can work as much OT as I want. Am building the savings up over the summer so I can comfortably jump to a regional or charter next fall. Hope to have those ATP mins by the time RTAG gets here. |

I should have been more clear. I have an ATP certificate for Rotorcraft/Helicopter. In order to transition to most lucrative Fixed Wing positions, I need an ATP certificate that includes Airplane Multi-Engine Land. I'm about 17 multi-engine hours short of that. |
