What is everybody in the world talking about?  Nothing is ever on TV by accident.  And they are dragging out the apologies and "academy review" to decide if Will keeps his trophy.  (keeping the story in the headlines for another week)  And soon we will see stories about the "medical condition" that caused the woman to shave her head.  (true, It is a frustrating disease and the relief is best had by buzzing.  So that part is real.) And stories about domestic abuse...  And stories about toxic masculinity.  blah-blah-blah

The Oscars viewership was down SEVENTY FIVE percent.  They had to do something to boost ratings.  And it worked.  Flawlessly.  And after all the lies (from EVERY news/media source) in the past few years, it seems someone besides me would see this for what it is.  It is actually no better than the Jussie S scam.

The supposed b**ch slap was miles off target.  Maybe a fingertip touched Chris Rock.  It reminds one of a fake fight in an old cowboy movie.

Are you that dumb to think that a high caliber comic like Chris Rock would not have a comback planned if it was staged?

• The "Academy" asked Smith to leave,,,, and then the stories about how they didn't make any such request.
• and "academy review" to decide if Will keeps his trophy.  Spoiler alert: he keeps it
• the "medical condition" that caused the woman to shave her head.  and now the videos of Will Smith making fun of people who have the exact same condition as his wife.
• and now stories about "toxic masculinity" and the counter stories

It isn't a conspiracy at all.  There are many, many media savvy people who know how to take advantage of an existing story.  Glom on to it and grab a little piece for oneself.
