No. Staffing shortage. Base will remain at the airport. Word is new crew quarters has finally been approved by the city and will be built out. |

Is that "no staffing shortage" or "no. Staffing shortage"? There's a big difference with punctuation. Also doesn't explain why the base is shut down. Why shut base down for min 6 months ? |

Staffing shortages caused REACH to reassign staff to more "profitable" bases (i.e. more flight demand, better payors) which further inhibitied Watsonville's performance, it will end up being a complete base closure in the end. GMR mgmt also eyeing underperforming bases in Southern California for possible action - base moves or possible closures. |
